COVID-19

During these uncertain times, we are here to help as much as we can in support of our pupils, our families and our community.  In accordance with government guidance, we are presently open for pupils in Reception, Years 1 and 6, and  for the children of keyworkers.

This page shares important information, which is updated frequently to reflect government guidance and changes in provision.

You should self isolate if:

  • you have any of the following symptoms - a high temperature, a new continuous cough, or a loss or change to your sense of smell or taste

  • you are waiting for a coronavirus test result

  • you have tested positive  for coronavirus

  • you live with someone who has symptoms, is waiting for a test result or has tested positive.

This means everyone in your household.

The decision to send your child back to school during this phased return is yours alone.  The DfE has issued the following guidance:

If you have any questions or concerns about your child returning to school, we would  welcome the opportunity to discuss these with you.  Please feel free to call us on 01491 671 445 or use the button below:

Our staff are providing a variety of work for your child to do while they are at home.

The School Leadership Team have followed the guidance from both the local authority and the DfE.

The safety of our whole school community is paramount.  We have worked hard with the local authority to apply the many measures detailed in our risk assessment.  As with all risk assessments, this is a live document  which will change over time to reflect any amended practice further to our  regular self review and stakeholder feedback.
